Jessica Fields has always been drawn to the rich, intricate design of ancient Jewelry. She began making her own creations in high school. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in English Literature and working several years in New York's publishing industry, Fields returned to her first passion and continued her goldsmith studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She then went to work for jewelers Reinstein/Ross, while starting her line.

Her work is influenced by historical jewelry, in particular nature-inspired Classical Greek designs and ecclesiastic patterns of Renaissance.
